Manufacturing Process
The AC Plastic Air Louver is manufactured using precision plastic injection moulding. Selected plastic granules are fed into an injection moulding machine and heated to the required processing temperature.
The molten plastic is injected into a precision-engineered mould cavity containing the required louver blade profile, frame geometry, pivot points, mounting features, ribs, and locking elements. Controlled cooling allows the plastic to solidify into the required shape.
After ejection, the moulded louver is trimmed and inspected for dimensions, blade alignment, movement, mounting accuracy, surface finish, warpage, flash, and overall fit. Where the louver consists of multiple blades or linkages, the components can be assembled and functionally tested.
Mould Manufacturing Process
The mould is developed from the required 2D drawing, 3D CAD model, or customer specifications. Particular attention is given to the louver blade profile, frame geometry, pivot points, linkage interfaces, mounting clips, draft angles, parting lines, cooling channels, and ejection system.
Suitable mould steel such as P20, H13, or S136 can be selected based on production volume, mould life, product complexity, and required surface finish.
Mould components are manufactured using CNC machining, EDM, precision drilling, grinding, polishing, and precision fitting. Trial moulding is performed to verify blade dimensions, alignment, movement, fitment, surface quality, and moulding performance.
