Manufacturing Process
The AC Plastic Air Deflector is manufactured using precision plastic injection moulding. Selected plastic granules are fed into an injection moulding machine and heated to the required processing temperature.
The molten plastic is injected into a precision-engineered mould cavity containing the required deflector profile, mounting clips, support ribs, pivot points, locking features, and adjustment components. Controlled cooling allows the plastic to solidify into the required shape.
After ejection, the moulded component is trimmed and inspected for overall dimensions, deflection angle, mounting accuracy, surface finish, warpage, flash, and structural integrity. If the deflector is adjustable, its movement and locking function can also be tested.
Mould Manufacturing Process
The mould is developed according to the required 2D drawing, 3D CAD model, airflow requirements, or customer specifications. Particular attention is given to the deflector profile, mounting points, pivot geometry, support ribs, locking features, draft angles, parting line, cooling channels, and ejection system.
Suitable mould steel such as P20, H13, or S136 can be selected according to production volume, mould life, product complexity, and surface-finish requirements.
Mould components are manufactured using CNC machining, EDM, precision drilling, grinding, polishing, and precision fitting. Trial moulding is performed to verify dimensions, fitment, deflection angle, movement, surface quality, and moulding performance.
