Manufacturing Process
The Plastic Meat Crate is manufactured using the plastic injection moulding process. Selected plastic granules are dried and fed into an injection moulding machine, where they are heated until molten.
The molten plastic is injected into a precision-engineered mould cavity containing the required crate dimensions, ventilation openings, stacking features, reinforced ribs, handles, and corner geometry. Controlled cooling allows the plastic to solidify.
After cooling, the mould opens and the finished crate is ejected. The product is then inspected for dimensions, weight, wall thickness, ventilation openings, stacking accuracy, structural strength, surface quality, and deformation.
Mould Manufacturing Process
The mould is designed according to the required crate drawing or 3D CAD model. Special attention is given to the crate cavity, ventilation slots, stacking features, handles, reinforcing ribs, corner strength, draft angles, wall thickness, parting line, cooling channels, and ejection system.
Mould steel such as P20, H13, or S136 can be selected depending on production volume, expected mould life, product complexity, and surface-finish requirements.
Mould components are manufactured using CNC machining, EDM, drilling, grinding, polishing, and precision fitting. After mould assembly, trial production is performed to verify filling, cooling, ejection, dimensions, stacking performance, strength, and overall product quality.
