Electric Flour Mill Plastic Anti Vibration Foot Mould and Moulding Service | Renovator Appliances Ltd

Product Overview

Renovator Appliances Ltd. provides Electric Flour Mill Plastic Anti Vibration Foot Mould and Moulding Service for manufacturing precision-moulded plastic anti-vibration feet used in domestic and commercial electric flour mills. The anti-vibration foot is designed to support the machine base, provide stable floor contact, and help reduce the transmission of movement and vibration from the operating motor and grinding mechanism to the supporting surface.

The plastic anti-vibration foot can be developed according to the flour mill base geometry, machine weight, mounting arrangement, floor-contact area, vibration conditions, and required clearance. Depending on the design, the moulded plastic component can also provide an interface for a separate rubber or elastomeric pad. Injection moulding supports consistent dimensions, accurate mounting features, controlled geometry, and repeatable assembly.

Manufacturing Process

1. Product Design & Development

The anti-vibration foot is developed according to the flour mill base dimensions, machine weight, mounting arrangement, floor-contact area, and operating conditions. Load-bearing areas, mounting features, contact geometry, clearances, wall thickness, and the interface with any rubber or elastomeric pad are evaluated during product development.

2. Plastic Mould Design

The injection mould is designed according to the anti-vibration foot geometry. The cavity, core, parting line, gate location, runner system, cooling channels, venting, and ejection arrangement are planned to accurately form mounting bosses, slots, ribs, contact surfaces, and other required features.

3. Mould Manufacturing

The mould can be manufactured using suitable tool steel such as P20 Steel, H13 Steel, or S136 Steel, depending on production volume, required mould life, dimensional requirements, and surface finish. CNC machining, EDM, grinding, polishing, fitting, and mould assembly are carried out as required.

4. Injection Moulding

The selected thermoplastic material is heated and injected into the mould cavity under controlled processing conditions. Injection pressure, melt temperature, holding pressure, cooling time, and cycle time are adjusted according to the selected material and component geometry.

5. Finishing & Assembly Preparation

After moulding, gates and excess plastic are removed where applicable. The anti-vibration foot is inspected for mounting features, contact surfaces, sharp edges, and proper interface with the flour mill base. If a separate elastomeric pad is specified, the plastic component can be prepared for its assembly.

6. Quality Inspection

Finished anti-vibration feet are inspected for dimensional accuracy, mounting geometry, contact-area consistency, surface quality, warpage, flash, and proper fitment with the flour mill base and associated components.

Raw Materials

MaterialTypical Application
PPLightweight foot components requiring suitable flexibility
ABSRigid foot structures with good surface appearance
HDPESelected applications requiring impact resistance and suitable flexibility
HIPSEconomical support-component applications
PC+ABSApplications requiring a balance of impact strength and dimensional stability
PBTApplications requiring dimensional and thermal stability
Nylon/PAApplications requiring higher mechanical strength
Glass-Filled NylonStructural applications requiring enhanced stiffness
TPE/TPUElastomeric interfaces or damping components where specified
Engineering PlasticApplications requiring specific mechanical or thermal properties

The final material should be selected according to the machine weight, mounting loads, vibration conditions, operating temperature, floor-contact requirements, and surrounding environment. A moulded plastic foot alone does not necessarily provide significant vibration damping; where vibration isolation is required, a suitable rubber, TPE, TPU, or other elastomeric interface may be incorporated and validated according to the actual application.

Quality Control

  • Raw Material Inspection: Plastic grade, colour, and incoming material condition are checked before production.

  • Mould Inspection: Cavity, core, parting surfaces, cooling system, venting, and ejection arrangement are inspected.

  • Dimensional Inspection: Overall dimensions, mounting points, contact area, wall thickness, and critical interfaces are checked.

  • Visual Inspection: Components are checked for flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage, burn marks, scratches, and other moulding defects.

  • Fitment Inspection: The foot is checked against the specified flour mill base for correct positioning and mounting.

  • Stability & Interface Inspection: Contact geometry, mounting retention, and the interface with any specified elastomeric pad are checked according to the approved design.

  • Packaging Inspection: Finished components are packed appropriately to minimize scratches, deformation, dust, and handling damage.

Buyer Guide

When sourcing an Electric Flour Mill Plastic Anti Vibration Foot Mould and Moulding Service, buyers should provide the flour mill base dimensions, machine weight, mounting arrangement, foot dimensions, floor-contact area, vibration requirements, required clearance, 2D engineering drawing or 3D CAD model, preferred plastic grade, colour, surface finish, and expected production quantity.

If the design requires vibration damping, buyers should also specify whether a separate rubber, TPE, TPU, or other elastomeric pad is required. For new product development, special attention should be given to load distribution, mounting strength, floor-contact geometry, machine stability, operating vibration, material hardness, and the actual interface between the plastic foot and supporting surface.
